Annual Lancaster Holiday Parade
The Charity Newsies once again kicked off "Newsies Time Of Year" in the annual Lancaster Holiday Parade on Saturday, November 19. The festivities began with a small group decorating our float/wagon two days prior at Jerry's Fireworks. On Saturday, a terrific crew of Newsies led by Parade Chair Mindy Haning - plus many family members and friends - walked the sunny, but cold, parade route.

The Charity Newsies helped 18 schools throughout Fairfield County prepare to kick off the school year with supplies! Thanks to our Area Schools Coordinator Stephanie Brown and her team of volunteers - Ann Cherry, Bill Clemens, Justin Kelley, Kristen Peters and Mike Wolshire - deliveries were made the week of August 8. Pictured are supplies ready to be packed up at our North End Press staging location, boxes ready for delivery - plus Kristen Peters and Justin Kelley delivering supplies to Medill Elementary, Mount Pleasant Elementary, Tussing Elementary and Heritage Elementary.

Sunday, June 26 turned out to be a great day in the new era of Charity Newsie golf, as our annual Ladies Outing moved to its new home - Valley View Golf Club! Everyone had fun - and the Newsie kicked off our 2022 fundraising season in high style.

Thursday, February 10 the Lancaster Business and Professional Women organization presented the Charity Newsies with a $1400 donation from their Festival of Trees auction fundraiser held at at Scrambler Marie's in Lancaster.
